SAP BTP is the real jewel in SAPs crown, its the engine room that enables process innovation and tangible benefit realisation across SAPs composable cloud ERP architecture.
SAP BTP is now a highly mature composable PaaS product, having entered the market back in 2011. Its our view that SCP was SAPs most important product innovation since SAP R/3.

We got to see SAP’s new standout proprietary GenAI functionality called "ask" that will become included in all forms of SAC. Its as simple as ChatGPT, simply type in a high level summary of what you want and hey presto the report / analytics will appear.
Alisdair predicts that this will be a fantastic win for SAP, one of the key topics discussed today was the ever perplexing if Data is the new gold how do we drive value from it ?
Its the Data Warehouse v Data Lake v Data Fabric debate, essentially trying to get value out of all the disparate data contained in a multitude of data repository’s across the enterprise, something most organisations fail to ever achieve due to cost and complexity.
We will see Ask and SAC dropped on top of SAP BTP’s SAP Data Intelligence to establish and enable the data fabric concept using AI. This is truly massive for SAP and is a direct challenge to the hyper-scalers in terms of their data products.
SAP Ask Gen AI, embedded in SAP SAC and lining all sources of data to establish a data fabric.
We can clearly see where SAP are starting to take GenAI with the promise of it becoming embedded in Fiori as well.
The other standout had got to go to the SAP BTP board game, we love it, an excellent way to get business leaders thinking BTP and business problem fixing. Would make a great xmas gift.
